The Research Institute of Advanced Technologies, Ningbo University (“RIAT”) is an organization and management and service institution that integrates technology innovation, technological achievements’ transformation, technology start-up incubation, and high-level talent cultivation. It based on the teaching, scientific research and management strength of Ningbo University with the support from the Ningbo Institute of industrial technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It focused on new materials, marine biotechnology, electronic information, new energy and advanced manufacturing technologies with interdisciplinary and Industry-University cooperation as the means. It is an important platform for supporting the school discipline construction.
